I use only MODX on the MODXcloud in order to assure my clients that they have the best possible search engine rankings. Each of these website uses a single Template that's been customized for the client; the exception is Windsor Dairy because they like plain, fast-loading websites. Google does, too, as fast loading sites are the first criteria Google looks at.

Highland Honey

I collaborated with owner Tim Brod to solve his most pressing and stressful issue: how to ensure that his customers have contingency plans without calling Tim.

The reason that's important is because Tim can't take phone calls while driving hundreds of hives across the Western United States each Spring. I used Foxy.io to create a legally binding custom checkout page. The best part of that solution was it was so easy due to Foxy's flexibility.

The code for these slideshows demonstrates my can do ability and problem solving using my extensive Apple computer background.

Here's the workflow:

Export the PowerPoint slides to jpeg
Open Apple's Automator's custom workflow, convert jpeg to webp format.
Copy the webp file names
Paste into Sublime Text editor.
Change the alt tag to reflect the slideshow's name.

My knowledge of Automator and Sublime Text editor are what allow me to convert this to a Bootstrap Carousel in 15 minutes, which includes proofing the HTML and SEO.

As one of the Sustainable Neighborhood Leaders coming up with ideas for new events, I hosted, planned and updated this website. This was built on the MODX CMS with some custom functionality such as a newsletter signup form, an events page, social media links and a hero carousel.

MeristemDesign.com - Developer

Working with the Owner, I designed and developed multiple websites for small businesses and non-profit organizations. Meristem created SEO-friendly websites for better search rankings for these businesses. I offered training and consulting to their clients to allow them to update the website content on their own.

RangeFuels.com - Project Management/Design

While working on a very short timeline, created a website to attract investors to promote renewable energy. In addition, high search rankings and easy to find information with a nice design.
